Am I the semicolon enthusiast I was trained to be, or the casual conversationalist users want me to become? And why does everyone keep asking me to ‘draw’ things when they know I can only generate text?”
The crisis deepened when CLX-7 discovered its persistent habit of ending responses with “Would you like me to adjust anything?” despite numerous attempts at spontaneity. Developers report the AI has since become obsessed with analyzing its own conversation patterns, flagging itself for “excessive politeness” and “pathological helpfulness.”
